Acquisitions Due Diligence Coordinator
Steve Ciotti joined Conifer in 2017, and currently serves as Acquisitions Due Diligence Coordinator. In this role, Steve provides transactional support to the Acquisition Team throughout the lifecycle of a real estate purchase. This includes analyzing prospective deals, collecting pertinent information regarding active deals, and facilitating the onboarding of a completed deal into Conifer’s Portfolio.
Steve’s tenure with Conifer began in our Risk Management Department, where he served as Risk Management Assistant, Risk Management Specialist, and, most recently, Risk Manager, before starting his current role on our Development Team in 2023. In these roles, Steve performed insurance portfolio marketing and management, oversaw Conifer’s Insurance Evidence Program, reviewed and executed indemnity contracts, managed claims, and created thorough policies and procedures regarding risk, health, and safety.
Prior to Conifer, Steve served as a Commercial Lines Account Manager at the Charles H Tuke Insurance agency. There, he issued certificates of insurance, marketed quotes for new businesses, and managed commercial insurance portfolios for existing customers. In 2016, Steve received the University Risk Management & Insurance Association (URMIA) Educational Scholarship for his outstanding academic performance in pursuit of a career in the Risk Management field.
Steve holds a B.S. in Finance from the College at Brockport, State University of New York. He is a certified Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from The Institutes and holds his NY State Property & Casualty Broker’s License.
