Lindsey Horton joined Conifer in 2017 and currently serves as Vice President of Property Management, where she provides strategic leadership and oversight for the company’s property management portfolio. In her role, Lindsey is responsible for driving operational performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the long-term stability and success of Conifer-managed communities. She is deeply committed to developing high-performing teams, strengthening site-level operations, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
Lindsey’s career at Conifer reflects a strong track record of internal growth and leadership development. She began as a Community Manager and was quickly promoted to Senior Community Manager within her first year. Through her dedication to operational excellence and team development, she advanced to Regional Manager, Senior Regional Manager, and now Vice President. Lindsey is known for her hands-on leadership style, her ability to build and mentor strong teams, and her focus on creating clear structure and support for her regional and site staff.
Throughout her tenure, Lindsey has been recognized for her impact and leadership, receiving Conifer’s Rookie of the Year Award in 2019 and the Impactful Leader Award in 2022.
Prior to joining Conifer, Lindsey worked as a Market Rate Property Manager in Ithaca, NY from 2008 to 2017, where she built a strong foundation in property operations, revenue management, leasing strategy, and resident relations.
Lindsey holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Financial Specialist (CFS), and Tax Credit Specialist (TCS). She is passionate about affordable housing and takes pride in supporting communities that provide safe, stable housing for residents. Outside of work, Lindsey is an avid animal lover and has spent years fostering dogs through local rescue organizations.
