“EGG HARBOR CITY – On Saturday, Sept. 12 officials of Conifer Realty and Moorestown Ecumenical Development and Egg Harbor City Mayor Lisa Jiampetti will officially open the doors to the new Rittenberg Manor Senior Community with a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Located at 528 Philadelphia Avenue, Rittenberg Manor is a 100-unit community designed for those age 62 and older.
“Our partnership with MEND has successfully developed an affordable senior living complex in a redevelopment area,” Conifer Vice President of Development Sam Leone said. “The most rewarding part of a complex like this is seeing so many seniors being able to afford to stay in their hometown and to provide housing for those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.”
All 100 units are occupied and a waiting list has begun.
Jiampetti said she is excited to see the development reach completion.
“I believe it will be a catalyst for Egg Harbor City’s revitalization,” she said. “Conifer is a very formidable company and their Rittenberg Manor attests to that. They have gone above and beyond all our expectations to create this beautiful building. I have no doubts that it will be well managed and meticulously maintained. The project also yields much needed direct revenue to the city on a piece of property that was previously tax exempt.””
