New Jersey Efforts to Sustain Historic Properties

The State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Historic Preservation Office has saluted Conifer for the historic preservation of Springside School in Burlington Township and Lawnside School in Lawnside Borough.

Both properties were entered into the New Jersey Register of Historic Place on January 22 and 23, 2015. The New Jersey Register is the official list of New Jersey properties worthy of preservation. The Springside School and The Lawnside School are now protected by the review process for public projects established by New Jersey Register of Historic Place Act (N.J.A.C. 7:4).

In addition, both properties were also entered into the National Register of Historic Places on March 17, 2015. The National Register is the Nation’s official list of cultural resources significant in American history, architecture, archaeology, engineering or culture.
