We are pleased to announce the appointment of Roger Snell as our new Chief Executive Officer. This announcement is in line with our drive to significantly expand and accelerate our mission to provide affordable housing, and follows a recent investment by Belveron Partners.

“We look forward to seeing Roger lead Conifer’s talented executive team to the next level of performance while playing a hands-on role in the mentorship and development of the company,” added Odland.

“I’m honored to join the ambitious Conifer Team at this exciting time in the marketplace and in the company’s trajectory,” said Roger Snell. “Conifer is a frontrunner in delivering high-quality affordable housing and benefits from a stellar industry reputation. I look forward to developing the company further and accelerating its growth across multiple markets and into new affordable and workforce housing ventures.”

From 2010 to 2021, Roger was the Chief Investment Officer of Veritas Investments, a privately held real estate investment firm, where he directed acquisitions, capital markets and strategy, leading the firm in an eleven-fold growth to $4Billion of AUM. Prior to this he was the CEO of two public REITs.  He presently serves on the board of Veritas Investments and a member of the investment committee, as well as CIM Income NAV, a public REIT investing nationally in triple net office, industrial and retail properties.

Roger’s investment, development and portfolio management experience includes over $14 Billion of properties and transactions.

Roger’s education includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

“Roger’s appointment ensures Conifer’s continuity and will enable us to rise to the challenge of meeting the demand for more high-quality, affordable housing in this country,” said Tim Fournier, Chairman of Conifer’s Board of Directors. “Moreover, Roger’s unique mix of financial and people-driven leadership skills is a good fit with Conifer’s guiding principles and values that have shaped the company’s growth and success throughout its 45-year history.”
