The Veteran’s Outreach Center (VOC) has been a significant figure in the Rochester community since 1973; offering a comprehensive portfolio of supportive services for veterans and their families at no cost.

Every veteran who has fought for America should have safe and affordable housing in America, and, too often they do not. With the high number of veterans in need of affordable housing, Conifer is expanding its portfolio to provide this fundamental need. In 2016 Conifer began a partnership with the VOC that led to the new $10.4 million-dollar VOC at Liberty Landing, creating 33 homes for veterans and their families.  VOC at Liberty Landing is just one of many housing communities assisting veterans that Conifer has developed, including most recently Camp Salute in New Jersey and several developments in Maryland that are moving toward construction closing.

Recently Conifer’s efforts were recognized by our partner, the VOC.  The VOC Housing Provider Award recognizes and celebrates providers for placing veterans and their families in safe and affordable housing.

“Their excellent service aligns with the VOC values, and we are pleased and honored to celebrate their commitment to helping veterans” – Veterans Outreach Center
