It is a great time to reflect and refresh, out with the old and in with the new, right? That’s why right now is the perfect time to look at your property page on the Conifer website and see what needs a refresh. Recently our website went through some upgrades. Some of the major upgrades were the search functionality, property information request form, security updates, and the overall layout, which has been enhanced. With these updates, we want to make sure all the information is correct and are asking you to help us in that task. Let’s give some life into those pages!
It is important for you, as the Community Managers, to look at your webpage periodically, if not weekly, because you are the one’s directly at the property and have the best knowledge of your content. Are the office hours incorrect? Is the verbiage out-of-date? Do the rents need updating? Do you have a better picture of the community then what’s up there? These are all things we want you take a good look at and make sure are right, because again, YOU have the best knowledge of YOUR community and therefore are the best advocate.
Please take some time over the next week to review your property page and note if there are any changes that need to be made. Once you have a list, please email the Marketing Department, firstname.lastname@example.org, by Friday, March 1st, and we will update the site. These changes will also be reflected on your property’s Cooley profile. So, your marketing collateral on Cooley, i.e. brochures, flyers, rack cards, etc., will also be updated to reflect the most current information!
Things to make sure you check for:
- Community Manager name
- Office hours
- Example: Does it still say, “NOW LEASING” and your community is past rent-up phase?
- Is the application on the page?
- Does it have the “Accessible” Icon on it?
- Are the Features & Amenities up-to-date?
- What about Leasing Info? Does it have the correct rents and sq. ft.?
- Take time to look at the summary and neighborhood info, is the information correct and best reflect your community?
- Check to make sure the address, map & directions are correct
- Floor plans are correct
- Don’t have floor plans? Let us know!
- Do you have better photos than what are featured?
- Do you need a photoshoot of your property?
- And of course, is the contact information correct?
We would also like for you to look at your property’s Google Reviews and notify us if there is anything under 3 stars, so we can work together and respond appropriately. Remember that online presence is usually the first impression that many prospects have of your community, so you want to have it looking its best!
Please return your edits by March 1st, if you do not have any corrections to make, please still send us an email so we know that it is up-to-date. Again, this is something you should be doing periodically. We are not at the site, so we aren’t aware of changes that occur. If at any time throughout the year you realize something on the site isn’t correct, it is your responsibility to reach out to us and let us know. We will make the appropriate changes when you tell us.
